Bulk DR Checker

Paste up to 20 domains and get each site's Domain Rating (DR) in one run. Domain Rating is Ahrefs' 0–100 score of a website's backlink strength, so this is the quickest way to compare a list of competitors, link prospects or your own sites side by side. The check is free, needs no sign-up, and results are cached for up to 24 hours because DR changes slowly.

One domain per line. Full URLs work too — the tool strips https:// and www. for you.

Assumptions: Domain Rating scores on this page are Domain Rating by Ahrefs, provided under Ahrefs' Domain Rating licence; Percentiva does not calculate, adjust or estimate them. Lookups are cached for up to 24 hours, so a score can lag a site's very latest backlinks. A domain that cannot be checked shows a blank DR rather than an estimated score.

How it works

Domain Rating (DR) is a metric developed by Ahrefs that scores the strength of a website's backlink profile on a logarithmic scale from 0 to 100. Logarithmic means each step up is harder than the last: moving from DR 20 to 30 takes far fewer strong links than moving from 70 to 80, and only a handful of sites on the web sit above 90. This tool checks the root domain you enter (any www. prefix is stripped) and fetches its current DR from Ahrefs' Domain Rating data via free public endpoints. The results show just the website and its DR, one row per domain in the order you pasted, so the DR column can be copied straight into a spreadsheet next to your own list. Because lookups draw on a shared free data source, results are cached for up to 24 hours; that is a fair trade, because a site's DR rarely moves meaningfully in a week. If a domain cannot be checked, its DR is left blank rather than guessed, so copied columns still line up row for row with your list.

Frequently asked questions

What is Domain Rating (DR)?

Domain Rating is Ahrefs' 0–100 score for the strength of a website's backlink profile — how many other sites link to it, and how authoritative those sites are. It runs on a logarithmic scale, so climbing gets harder the higher a site already is: the gap between DR 70 and 80 is far bigger than between 20 and 30.

Why does my site show DR 0?

A DR of 0 is normal for a new or small website. It means Ahrefs has found few or no backlinks pointing at the domain yet, not that the site is broken or penalised. DR rises as other websites start linking to your pages, and a single link from a strong, relevant site counts for far more than many links from weak ones.

Is Domain Rating a Google ranking factor?

No. DR is Ahrefs' own third-party metric, not something Google uses or publishes. It correlates with rankings because sites with strong backlink profiles tend to rank well, which makes DR useful for comparing sites and judging link prospects — but raising DR by itself does not raise your Google positions.

Why can I only check 20 websites at a time?

Twenty keeps each run fast and keeps the tool's free data source within its fair-use limits. If you have a longer list, simply run the checker again with the next batch — there is no daily cap on runs, and sites you checked recently come back instantly from the cache.

How fresh are the scores?

Results are cached for up to 24 hours. Backlink profiles change slowly, so a cached DR is normally within a point or so of a live lookup, and every score refreshes within a day as the cache renews.
